@Mario Lara pleasure bud. Technicaly speeking since its vsr 10 compatible you could change the iner and outer barrel for something shorter, but with the cost of the “stock” version i would stick to it as is

Archwick would be a great candidate to make the Mk22. They have mentioned that they are fans of less popular weapons systems though than just what SOCOM is using, but the there isn't a bolt-action Mk22 replica on the market so you never know.

I understand being a new company, they don't want to lose money on their investment by not following VSR system, resulting the weird mag. That's why I respect company like Ares and Silverback, which dare to challenge VSR domination, and they are quite succesful with their SRS and Striker

Forgot to mention that the cylinder is oversized. It uses a stock VSR10 cylinder with an extension on the front as stock to keep things compatible with the aftermarket, but they will be selling a longer high-volume cylinder that should better match the air volume of the long barrel version.

@Striker Alpha One i bought an Ares S01 yesterday hahaha. I don’t mind the AEG spring as long as I get the proper mag position. Also, my field limits are 400 or 450 depending on the site, so no need for crazy cylinder air volume ;)

There's enough room in there to fit a small acetech one if you want. it might require a little bit of modification, but nothing major.

For the next Monday talk, thoughts on the pre order for the EMG kel tec RDB ?

Don’t have to add for discussion but this is my favourite weapon design and I’m worried they messed it up. All polymer body ( upper should be metal ) no confirmation if the charging handle works or if the hand guard is real steel compatible for m-lok hand guards.

Worst of all, it’s an ares gearbox that manages to use their standard proprietary v2 trigger mosfet. If they can fit an existing v2 mosfet in the gun make it tm compatible so I can use the gate titan instead of the basic ares system that uses magnet sensors and burns out.

This reminds me of the KWA tk45, was going to be proprietary, then they delayed a year and came back with standard electronics. Delay the RDB, use tm electronics, a metal upper, working charging handle and real steel compatible hand guard, I’ll pay $100 extra easily.

So i presume this year does not bless for the as snipers too if this one comes out as the best.
Its too expensive, too long, too heavy, hard to maneuver with it, with not quick change quick change flash hider for suppressor, hard to reload, way too long inner barrel for VSR cylinder, alu inner barrel... So yeah, if you dont buy it for just for look, it prity much sucks

@pmm4177 novridggdjsb rifle is just an overpriced modify m24. So for that price the mk13 is a better option.

Why in the world would somebody ever even consider paying 600 dollars for an airsoft gun?! I can throw a spring and a piston kit in my lancer tactical barrett m82 that i only paid like 80 bucks for during a christmas sale and have a mid 400fps shooter for under 200 all together and throw in a precision barrel and new hopup bucking while im at it. Again, i mentioned before that these guns are too freakin expensive and kids cant get involved because they have budget rifles and are getting clapped by some guy that takes the game way to serious and burnt through half a paycheck to shoot a kid with a walmart special right in the face. We dont have any actual playing fields around me so its just a free for all in somebodys yard and thatd be so extremely unfair. Lower the prices so everybody can own the laser cannon airsoft rifles. If it costs anywhere near 600 for them to build that then they need to sue some parts companies because paying that much should be an assault charge lol

As a person with an upgraded ares striker, I originally changed the barrel to a 6.01 barrel, maple leaf hop up bucking, and an m150 spring. Now I have swapped the spring to a wolverine m bolt hpa system that I haven't been able to test but it feels great. For other questions you can either ask me, or you can join the owner's group on Facebook. Great guys in there.

Ya know for a 550mm barrel I'd agree that an HPA may actually be called for for this rifle. I'm not convinced the cylinder will provide the volume to make sure it over gasses the 16000cm³ the barrel takes up

I think I have seen the real steel version in the news not long ago apparently the company that makes it are in hot water atm because their rifle are in the hands of Russian SF fighting in Ukraine and the Accuracy International are based in the UK

Actually you dont need any thing but a M170 spring. The manufacturer told me this og system can handle spring up to M180. you could search the image of the internal of this gun. nearly 100% high quality alluminum and steel !

@vudq90 while I agree it's still a concerning statement that basically says "we have an inner barrel that's much longer than necessary which will require more air volume. We gave you a little bit if you want the full air volume for sniping please buy our gun then wait for us to produce the proper parts and we will sell those to you seperatly later".

It's just a concerning statement that users will have to not only wait after buying the gun but also buy a seperate series of parts and install and then have it function at it's proper 100%

@Dave Thompson search more dude :D the cylinder on this one is atually almost 2cm longer than vsr10. they just make it short to adapt the market. The longer cylinder kit will be release later !

Looks like a standard VSR-sized cylinder, which is of course not man enough for 550mm :) Heck, the whole thing is essentially a pimped VSR with some upgrades out of the box. It's probably not even a bad rifle, I just feel as if unless you absolutely want the externals then there are other options.....and as for a review? No shooting? FPS checking?
