This is a really cool product, but I don't think you should advocate people fill the grenade before inserting the safety pin. It's just asking for accidents to happen.

BrainExploder I didn’t meant it in a bad way but hear me out. I love your videos and i really love how you created this simple but genius design to hold the grenades but as i am from belgium shipping costs are gonna be a lot + the 20$ makes it almost 55$ + import = 85$ for a simple piece of plastic. Airsoft already is not a cheap sport so i hope you understand my reaction and didn’t got offended by my comment

This is an awesome innovation, sir. Our local field just switched to proximity rules for grenades (even if you aren't struck by a bb) even for bangers, so definitely going to start carrying some burst XL's and will definitely be trying out this product. Keep up the great work.

I just use this carriers today and was I little disappointed. I brought two and had both of them let the grenade fall out just running around. I did cut the pins down like in the video so I'll try leaving the pins longer and just round them over. Hopefully that helps.

Good stuff as always! Rather than cut the pin, I took some Velcro straps and wrapped them over it. It pads the pin and makes me feel a bit more secure that the grenade will stay put. It does add an extra movement to pull the grenade loose but I can still use one hand.

I do not have any yet because I have not found a way to carry/use them where I would not be losing the spoons all the time. Overall, I like the Burst XL much more but they do not count as kills at the fields that I play at.

This is an awesome invention mr Exploder! Too bad these type of airsoft grenades aren't legal in the Netherlands. We only get to use the discontinued AI Tornado.

Silo plays in Belgium and other foreign countries a lot, which is why he's able to use these type of airsoft grenades. In the Netherlands it's mainly caused by the fact that they resemble real grenades. Before the Tornado was "legalized" a Dutch airsofter was caught by the authorities with an AI tornado and probably got arrested for it. He went to court to fight the case. In the end the judge ruled that the AI Tornado does not resemble a real grenade as long as it's the spoonless version. So at the moment there's a case law for the use of the AI Tornado without a spoon, but not for any of the other airsoft grenades. Recently the NABV (Dutch airsoft association) stated that the new Avatar airsoft grenade should be legal as well, since it doesn't resembles a real grenade, but since there's no case law people still seem to be hesitant. (disclaimer: I don't know the details of the lawsuit except for the fact that there's now a case law and that we can safely use the Tornado. The Dutch laws for Airsoft are kinda weird.)

Why is it illegal it just makes a loud pop it is probably the safest grenade out there unless you get hit in the head with it flying over you. I've seen Silo use these and he is from ND.

Gotta say man, if you only need to push it a 0.5cm up to release, then that's not secure enough... Even on the side, you can have the stock under your armpit or be drawing a sidearm or rolling when prone, and all those can free the nade it seems.

Its very secure you have to intentionally pull them off, they will not move under most airsoft activities, I have only dropped two and it was because of the reason I mentioned sweeping under them with my gun.

Materials that are too "stretchy" may not allow gases to release fast enough to create the "pop" needed. If louder is what you are after, you will have to find the right balance between gas escaping quickly vs. not fast enough. Perceived loudness also means absolute decibels and duration of sound - another area of variable.

I'll have to have a nosey, it's not something I've paid that much attention to while setting up my bursts. I'd assumed that once the pin had been inserted that it essentially knocked the plunger into position so that went the pin was pulled it wouldn't drop unless the burst was deployed. Been a long day so my memory isn't really cooperating.

The plunger wants to stay in that position it will only dump down on impact. When you pull the pin the plunger stays in that position same when you are loading it the plunger has nowhere to go unless you drop the thing.

I don’t think it will. I think the cyclone is a bit taller and the base is bulkier. But I had the same question myself and I would mind getting one if I had these burst grenades.

Haven't tried since I left my Cyclone on the field the last time it failed to detonate but most likely not unless the shape is identical.
