The novritsch SSG-10 (Airsoft Sniper Rifle Review) Ever since the introduction of the SSG-24, time began to tick away for the second bolt action rifle release by the Novritsch team. So many opinions, facts, stories, and arguments have been shared for this second addition but I have my own thoughts to share. This is my review of the Novritsch SSG-10. Ah...
I have 2 of them. A1 and the A3. I thought about just buying the kit but I didn’t want to constantly change out the stock when I feel like going for a different style to play with. Honestly, I’m more of a fan of the A1. When it comes to snipers, I love the old fashion “simple” look. For some reason I’m not a fan of snipers that have pistol/AR style hand grips. The A1 is super light, it looks amazing and it’s not “over done”. It’s just perfect.

Bravo, Novritsch! Can't wait to see your unbiased review of your product.
(Great review too, credit where credit is due.)
If you dislike Novritsch' products, then that's perfectly fine, nobody is forcing you to buy them. If you think you can build something better for less money, that's awesome please share the information or go into the airsoft manufacturer industry yourself and make some serious cash!
But choosing to hate on someone else's success, is a really low point. These people should reconsider their life choices and expectations.
Thank you for an honest review. I know that I won't buy this SSG-10 now, mainly due to the safety trigger, the inner barrel that isn't fastened at the tip, and the magazines that don't easily click into place. However, I also know that this is not cause to hate on Novritsch and his company, especially considering how they work on improving their products. I'm just simply gonna wait till they have a satisfying solution that fits my needs, then they can take my money.
me wondering why my magazine won't come out after giving it alcohol
and stressful work.
Favorite band of all time
i use a kar98 and i load my mag before reaching the area anyway.
i like to load mine as i walk. not always. and yeah open finger gloves are nice. altho not when its cold.
for my left hand i wear a full glove. i once got hit on the finger by a counter sniper maybe novritsch himself. and it hurt like hell.

and the support only wrote to me that it is not a problem, I can still play with it! who treats his customers like this,
I will no longer buy anything from him!
But if they stick with it the satisfaction of lining up the shot and getting a perfect kill is unbelievable.
For people like myself that run multiple load outs the ssg10 seems to be the perfect option for the money as I know including purchase of my sniper (striker as02) and upgrades I’m well over £500
Keep up the great reviews
this gun only looks good. The fully upgraded Tokyo Marui vsr-10 is a lot better
Also, buy the A1 version. It is simpler and there are almost no complications at all. There are no issues with the safety either, as well as the fact that the A1 version is $200 less than the A2
Says in 25$ shotgun
OT question: what song is playing at the start of the vid? is ist a Rammstein Cover?
But sadly, I don't have the money and age to get one.... Yet
My family is strict, but they agreed to buy one for me when I am 18y/o and when I study well
Love your videos by the way, same for the others that make videos like yours. I especially love Novritsch's sniper videos
The readings of negative decibels you provided is a floating scale relative to your recording software’s settings as well as the Shure’s proximity and orientation.
Decibels readings are usually measures as a positive integer e.g. normal speech is 60dB and a gas lawn mower would be about 90dB. A quick fix for the future would be to use a smartphone app such as the ones these guys reviewed ( https://www.hearingsol.com/articles/decibel-meter-app/ )
By the bye, would you say that a SSG 24 has a better fit and finish? Visually through youtube it seems that way to me.
But all in all I enjoyed the video, thanks for slaving away!
Also USAirsoft: Mispronounces 10 (Zen) in German.
Jesus. Airsoft has come along way since I stopped playing three-ish years ago.
Fresh reminder that Novritch refused to fix a broken rifle over claims that the user was "pulling the trigger wrong".
Fudds hate him and the newer guys like him.
As for me, I respect the man for what he does, he's a self made innovator that helps the sport go forward.
I love seeing and learning all the details, defiantly getting one!
I want to get patches for my team. anyone know good websites to get team patch design?
I saw this website, but i never bought from them
https://patchpanel.kckb.st/tynker1
That’s exactly why I included it into this review.
Very well executed.
I’d have no idea if my rifle was thoroughly handpicked or not but I’m sure people will have different pros and cons they can list with their own rifles. Every airsoft gun is slightly different opening up different dilemmas.
I really do apologize if a missed major issues.
Hope this helps.

The M4 AEG is like the vanilla experience of airsoft, you're sure to have a good time, shoot a lot, and you can more easily figure out if you prefer cqb style play or you are more into the long range combat, because the M4 and other AR platforms can do a bit of both. With a bolt action you are already locked into a very niche style of play, and you won't get to experience anything else. You're also not very likely to get a lot of action and hits the first many times, if you are not naturally suited for the sniper playstyle, which most people aren't. There's a lot of sitting, taking tactical positions, waiting, anticipating enemy movement, etc. Much less reaction-based play, and for most people, the proactive playstyle comes with experience, and not something you have straight out of the gate.
At least that's my observation of it. For a few select people, starting out with a sniper rifle can work perfectly well, but for 9/10 people it probably won't be the best experience for new players.
You really need decent material to get the accuracy and distance you need to compensate for the extreme fire rate drawback. It requires more planning and adjustment of expectations.
In order to be effective for your team you need to plan and communicate and observe. You are not going to be out in the field, guns blazing. It's still fun to be assault in close quarters with half decent guns.
Stay safe out there!
This review has been in production for a while now before any of the quarantines began. I’m not going anywhere now until the virus clears up and I’ve cancelled all event appearances until then.
Thank you for watching by the way and thank you for your support!
(Hehe, get the pun?)
That's why USAirsoft and other reviewers' work is so important, at least we know what we're getting into, so I'd like to thank Scott for the video.
The bolt pull is smoother and easier in my opinion and even the owner of the 24 that was used in this review liked the 10 more.
When I see the intro: oh, time to settle down and watch an interesting video
Thank you very much!
Scott: AN ACTUAL JAMES BOND LEVEL BACK STORY
That's the only criticism I have for what is otherwise, by far, the best review I've ever seen of an airsoft product. Keep it up!!!
Scott Hallenbeck: Ok let me make one of the greatest airsoft reviews ever made
I wouldn’t want to skip around to find information about what I’m looking for when I can watch a whole video dedicated to it.
Thanks for the idea though!
(May I add that the spring being cut torn off some material from the internals, needing to clean it even before the first game. Hilarious)
I got a new batch where the accuracy issue was solved, but the pin to push out the tip was... no longer there? Without the silver pin in its place, I assumed that I could just screw clockwise to remove the cap, but I was mistaken. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get that cap off. I tried hot water, a heat gun, and just sheer strength with the help of my uncle. We had to drill a hole into the cap and hammer in an Allen key and proceed to hammer it clockwise until it finally unscrewed. They must’ve had Novritsch brand glue on that thing! I then screwed in the thread adapter that I bought along with it, which sat fine in its very long threads.
Here’s the main issue, the gun doesn’t shoot right after that. I’m clocking at 1.63 joules with .40g bbs now, but I don’t see why. It shot fine out of the box, but now it doesn’t? I’m currently in contact with novritsch, and I hope they can sort this out. I seem to get really unlucky when it comes to problems like this, just two weeks ago my Cyma Ar47 blew its fuse as I walked onto the field.
Anyway, I just wanted to say something that really dropped a bomb on my hopes for this gun early on, but I doubt this will happen to anyone else out there.

Your pick of hop arm 10-20 bucks

Thats about 250, leaving room for pistons/heads if you feel inclined.
And that's if you opt for your 300 dollar price point for the a1, the ssg10a2 is 500 and at that point building something better isn't a maybe, it's a fact.
Edit to induce links :)
Great job scott
