I've never seen anyone claim that they are experienced real soldiers unless they were a real vet.

All of their stuff looks real so that it can make the experience seem more real, the point of airsoft is to simulate war in a safe way.

Well maybe thats because soldiers have experience in real combat and not in airsoft, airsoft and real combat are very different, however I do see your point here.

Just like airsoft is a game that simulates real war, and if it simulates real war you will see some wannabe rambos running around with a m60, the reason people act like battlefield heros is that airsoft makes the experience feel real and that causes people to role play, like assigning a sargent or making a platoon. There was a airsoft vietnam game and it amazing with the m16's and m60s. And the dirt and grime, it felt real. Try doing that with paintball.
