The germans were really spoiled with their Mausers before and early in the war, having stocks made out of expensive walnut tree wood and having the iron sights be part of the barrel. Silo’s Mauser did also not feature the little H-shaped steel part of the handguard. These were removed from production design due to them being too complex.

You might dont give a shit about those ppl, but they exist, they suffered (i mean realy suffered, you know, torture and stuff), and it is in a good manner to mention your disaproval for nazis in situation when you use for example their gun. It is simple act of respect to ppl who were fighting and dieing 70 years ago. Seconds WW is not an abstract thing, it is real, it was just few years ago and it supose to be taken seriously.
