Just an aside, the Russians were the most significant force in Europe in WWII, took Berlin and were the first to liberate the concentration camps, they lost 1000's more people defeating the Nazis than the UK or USA did. Guy's!!! This is just fantastic.. I cannot find the words to describe my exstream injoyment this video in particular has given me... That ....."small" exsplosion was like the perfect amount to replicate the damage in a realistic event... As I watched I wondered if I should make a comment about the internal area around the explosive charge ... Would it be possible and worth it to paint the internal spar and serfices as to add alot of realism??? I just first noticed that the internal bits took away from the otherwise perfect footage.. ( that's just what I thought ) ,I just wanted to say incase you too thought that spraying abit of gray around that particular area internally around the explosive is a good idea ... I'm super happy and excited and inspired regardless of my silly idea... I mean this is just a really exciting thing to watch... and the multiple camera placement is perfect.. from were I'm watching this little battle brings me back to childhood when I was recreating aircraft battles with burning hot plastic dripping on my bedroom floor...,

Been a long time subscriber and big fan. I'm not against shooting at each other's aircraft....but they look really good, and I've never been the type to blow up any models I've made (I'm mostly a static scale modeler). Seems like a waste.
Addendum. Just finished the video, and at the moment of the 262 losing the engine and spiraling in, I got a very empty feeling. I'm 54 and spent the better part of my life reading about, and then finding and meeting numerous WWII fighter pilots, and actually befriending a few. German, Polish ,and American...and I just got real mixed feelings on this whole thing. My avatar is my deceased Polish friend's WWII portrait. And no I don't play War Thunder either. Sorry for the bummer comment.

Fun special effects but in reality the 262 went after the B-17 formations. My father-in-law few B-17 and he said the 262 would scream through and with each pass a plane would fall from the sky. I am not mistaken Yeager and others would follow the 262 back to their bases and score the kill as they were landing. Oh and when the 262s would be spotted by the B-17 formation the call would come over the radio "here come the blow jobs"

I would love to see you guys get a whole bomber formation complete with escort fighters and an enemy fighter squad and have the enemy squad try and take out the bombers before they can get to the target area.

NOW THAT WAS COOL! When you couldn't see the props on the 262 it looked way better than a CGI effect when it blew. And probably a whole lot cheaper than CGI too. For a few seconds I could picture that in a movie. Doubt they'd ever do it anymore now, or at least their unlikely to do so in most movies, especially the big budget movies since the CGI is safer. But would love to see them hire the FliteTest crew for effects like this.

Epic dog fight! The B-17 needs to be huge if you build it! Maybe two or three in formation? And the bombers win if they can drop some ordinance on some target, but have to thwart the attacking fighters to survive.

Idea for next project: FPV EJECTION SEAT. Giant rc plane, big enough for it's cockpit to have enough room for an fpv device (just camera, video transmitter and it's own battery) and a parachute system, mounted over a small rocket or pyrotechnic booster.
