I get its Russia, but how the hell do they get their hands on BTRs and T-90s? The vehicles surly are active military vehicles just re-purposed for the event itself, but why hasn't something like Armored Warfare in Russia done in the U.S.A? I mean there are are plenty of people who own armored vehicles and tanks legally in the states but most mil-sim events have either 1 or 2 Humvee's, some decommissioned military trucks or personalized pickup trucks owned by regular civilians for the immersions. Now don't get me wrong, any chance to sit atop a actual Humvee or catch a ride in a helicopter during an event is really cool.But at the same time the chances of a mil-sim event getting to rent/borrow an actual M1 Abrams or Bradley or even a M-RAP is unlikely because there probably are restrictions on the usage of such expensive vehicles, but it would be cool if one day some organization gets to rent these vehicles out for a mil-sim event and fire dummy munitions and roll around to give that vibe of a combat zone you know?

Airsoft came to Russia in the 90s already then gathered small teams for the games. The equipment was the people who returned from the war, who were in the police. Yes and mostly in the 90, 00 and where until 2010 it was mainly played by people who are already 30 years old. First of all, they had money for all this. And secondly, I wanted to play war games. Even now in many games is not permissible persons under the age of 18. And though many who have played not all knew about it. I myself have had occasions when someone overheard how I'm going to sell a AR-15, few Glocks and a few grenades, and the next day I was detained by the police on place where i sell them :)

I went to a place near the ruins of English castles (don’t know the exact location) last time and there were 7,450 people, there was a flood and serious thunderstorm, all weapons available, the buildings were all covered in all kinds of nature, the forest was like Amazon rainforest times 5 and squeezing that into a 24,000 sq meter area with juggernauts, 56 T-90 tanks imported from Russia or China (don’t know either), the mortars were fucking terrifying (yes the people who made the play area made it), there was a typhoon around 5 to 6 km away from our area (I don’t know why the owner allowed us to play in this condition), there were buildings that looked like the buildings from D-day, the match was like hell on Earth because of the condition, vehicles and juggernauts (yes there were juggernauts, for some reason) but the things that were good that it was a elites only match, so there were like little to no talking, like complete silence aside from the rain and nature, the amount of players made the game so intense and exciting, the background was amazing, it was midnight, there was music blasting in the area (it was seven nation army played for 10 hours), once you are hit: you can’t respawn or spectate. It creates this feeling of cautiousness and awareness like “if I get die, I die in real life” or “I lose, my team loses” and different things blah blah blah, sadly this game is the only game in history that will never be played again and if you have a question, please reply. @BubbleGumBabeFace I served in the Bundeswehr and honestly, that's a shitty equipped army. Not all Leopard-2 are combat ready, most Eurofighters aren't even operational, there's even a fucking shortage on ammo. We have only around 6 submarines and none of them work. So much about great equipment among NATO Forces.

@BubbleGumBabeFace I didn't say that it took 10 years to equip Russia's army, I referred to how much actually changed within the last 10 years. I personally consider Russia's army as more advanced than some NATO armies. Russia is actually leading in some aspects, for example SAM, Electronic Warfare and in my personal opinion in a few areas around unmanned vehicles (the US is definitely leading when it comes to UAV but Russia puts a lot of effort in so called "land-drones" like Uran-9 etc.).

The Russian Army is better equiped in certain areas an aspects, in some areas even better than the US, in all not yet. The US an UK are still the most comprehensively best equipped conventional forces in the world right now. I Know not alot of people like that, I'm not trying to do an "America fuck yeah" but it's true as of right now, then again what would you expect look how much Americans spend on there defense budget every year.

You mean someone who sits way outside of the actual combat, taking potshots at people (which is hard to miss with so many people) to afraid of getting into the action? Or that airsoft snipers have the "luck" of not having to shoot real rounds, and thus not revealing their position? Irl. snipers would be taken down after 3 shots, instead of going on massive "killstreaks"?

A starwars themed battle with people as rebels and imerial the sith and jedi are combat trained in combat so they can have light sabers it would be almost as cool as this but not as cool
