From a non airsoft player that watch these videos, it's a lot of confusion with the rule. I seen guys yell bang bang from a great distance, it's stupid. In Paintball we have surrender or die rule. Let's just say I shot the player now. Surrender or die is for the little kids in rental gear.

Got into the dumbest argument because a kid came to a door way, into a room, had no damn clue where i was (in the inside corner behind a couch), yelling bang bang. He didnt even enter the room, just came to the door and had no visual of me. I didnt respond and waited for him to enter and shot him twice. Fucking kid went a cried to the ref that i didnt call myself out because he bang banged me. Which delayed the next game as the ref had to sort this shit out.

OOF
you can use it when you're in the back of the enemy and don't have a knife so you should shoot him.
but i think if you follow this guy's barrel he wouldn't hit u even if he completed shot his mag...

The field I work at we use a mercy rule. The way it works is if you get the drop on someone and come up behind them within 5 feet you yell mercy. If they don’t respond and say hit within 2 seconds you can shoot them, but it is contestable so say you’re the one someone yelled mercy at you have a chance to try and shoot them.
I think it's fine
Runs around like headless apes
under 500 possibly fine
And rfr those who might say 500fps is nothing check out a vid by dutch the hooligan when a player after getting shot, shoots dutch at 0 feet in the face with a 500fps DMR drawing blood, i wanna play this sport for fun without fear of a ASSHOLE, player shooting with a 500 fps DMR just to hurt people

But TBH is just plain stupid and only creates more conflicts and interrupt the flow of the match.
But if you follow that logic of kids should play with nerf guns and older ones airsoft I can say then that you can only use firearms until you’re 21.
It has to do more with the individual playing ,whatever is playing, know the “inconveniences” of playing with adults. Which lead to my original comment that the bang bang rule should be removed and people should deal with the “injuries” as everybody else.
The sport hurts.
Football hurts. We admire hard hits and the ability to walk it off.
Airsoft hurts. Wear gear and take the sting out of it.
Bang bang is just a stupid way to appease the weakness of the geeks who where coddled by mommy to long.
You'd be surprised how often people will miss shots at typical MED's when they aren't an issue like at Project N1. Worse so is when they might be blank firing.
Honestly it isnt so bad without "bang bang" rules when you have good protection for eyes, ears, and mouth, but I'd have to say the only situation to count that is in the rare occurrence when the other player is completely unaware and not facing your direction and you are basically standing right behind them. At arm's length.
And also for stuff like sniper rifles that are over 400 fps since that could be a safety issue.
But apparently it means "i see you there, bang bang ! Hey, you there 50 yards away, i see you !! YOU DEAD !! GO BACK TO RESPAWN NOOB ! I'm gonna call the ref..."
1m range,its good for safety
We play airsoft to shoot people and get shot, if you don’t wanna get hit don’t play

See it as in real life: You get shot, you're dead. Someone screams at you "Bang-Bang", you're still alive.

I dislike bangbang rule.
In Japan ,Airsoft power is regulated under 1J by low and most CQB field rule is around under 90fps for .20g , so we don't have such a rule. We can shoot as many as we want even within 5feet until he calls his hit ......
It is a little painful but better than bangbang rule for sure.....
I also play at a CQB field that used to have a 400fps limit with 0 engagement rules
That was beyond the best.
Bang bang is jarring, disrupts flow, and beyond a 1v1 its messy as hell- in short its terrible but I suppose safety is important
I prefer to play at no bangbang or optional bangbang rule fields for this reason.
Only used if you sneak up on someone, and you just say "bang bang" instead of shooting. None of that "around the corner" shit.
me when i see the speedsofters light: HIT HIT
Fuggin super stud I am
Now, if you sneak up, knife kill. Melee kills always accepted.
1) ur playing a tactical game... Grow up and take the shot
2) as what happened here with u, the gun wasnt even aimed at u which means if he would have shot it would have missed.
3) again its a tactical game... If u run in a room yelling bang bang and theres 4 ppl who is dead??
At my field the guy that owns it says if you say bang bang to somebody they don’t gotta take it and they can just shoot you
I like dat cause it doesn’t cause confusion well it does but it’s not really confusing
Own a p* or a dsg
Secondly own a midcap mag
Load that midcap mag
Find a random person with little to no gear
Aim
Hold down the trigger
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
