Just my opinion but little kids like this shouldn’t be in an Airsoft field, in some places there is a certain age you have to be but he seemed around 7-10. Yes he should try to get into Airsoft but his parents should have just done a bit of research or the field should have told the parents. At the end of the day though some people parent other ways.

Who's grandma hand sews a patch for airsoft? And then who'd give that patch to a 12 year old, after said grandma has passed away?
The airsoft community holding patches sacred, has to do with them wanting to be military. It isn't something legitimately sacred.
Either way, this is vigilante justice, and is against the law. The person deserves a charge or two for doing this.
