2. Most people take the game seriously and comply with the rules.
3. Some people seem to miss the point that this is a game (bad sports).
4. Cheaters do a lot to disrupt the game. Stiffer penalties might help to weed out cheaters (hopefully).

You mention loading heavier bbs in your pistols, the same you use for your sniper. Are steel ball bearings legal in airsoft then? Or can you just get heavier plastic ones that bust through bushes?? I'd really like to know because two of my 3 airsoft pistols fire steel and the 3rd fires plastic
