Honestly, i wouldn't get this rifle for even 300. Ares is getting way too sloppy. If i get a 600 dollar rifle and then have to upgrade some parts to make it usable, i won't be happy.

I like how you presented this disappointing (at least to me) rifle with all it's flaws without being negative.
I mean I guess it's not cheap to produce a chassis like this rifle has, but for this money I'd expect one that can take an M180 spring and only needs a bucking and inner barrel upgrade if that. But, like Scott says, I'm not married to an M40A6, so I see better options.
