Hey I need some help. I have an m24 and I bought a spring to upgrade its fps, but after installing it the bolt wont lock back when I rack it. I swapped the old spring back in and it worked again so nothing broke. Anyone know exactly what I can do to get this spring working? Just to clarify it is one from evike that said it was compatible with the m24. It is longer than the spring that came with this sniper though, so Im wondering if it just wont work despite what evike's description said, and what I can do, because their site doesnt seem to have any others for sale that might work.

@Elliot HongYeah. I would say so. Seems to be shooting straight, just I haven’t zeroed in my scope yet. For the price, I would say it very worth it. Feels great and is heaver then i thought. I hit the target i use (which isn’t very big) even though i have to aim right because my scope isn’t scoped in. Very good starter gun.

.25g BBs are going to be a little light for sniping purposes. We recommend .32 and up for sniping.

I bought this last week along with the same scope. The rings Don't fit the rail. I call Evike and tell me I don't know Do you want to return it??? Anybody got any ideas? The slots in the rail is not big enough for the bolt to sit inside of it that tightens the ring to the rail?

Yes you can with a thread adapter. However I will advise to not purchase a sniper as your first gun. Unless you already know the fields you’ll be playing at and are sure you can effectively play and have fun. Just stick to a standard m4 for your first gun, you’ll have more fun that way.

Dunno 'bout USA rules... Me used .4's when my fps were around 650 (on .2's). But such speed comes with many restrictions. So it depends on your wished playstyle.. Normally people stand on 560.

Skilpadjie I actually have an SSG10. It is just as accurate and well manufactured as the reviews say. Btw I use 0.4 gram bbs.

Out of the box at this price I'd go with the A&K M24 because it comes factory with steel internals and a 90 degree sear. Just a note to anyone interested: while some parts are vsr compatible, the hop up is smaller and not compatible

Why not just get a Novritsch SSG-10 or a SSG-24. But if you do get one I recommend the SSG-10 it’s 100$ cheaper and it’s air sealed
