Hey, love the video on my gun, got this and an AR rifle from Evike. I have a group of guys that I want to start playing with, but they are EXTREMELY picky on much help in the way of upgrades, and their view on my purchased hardware. So my idea of loadouts and any purchases is that you don't need top of the line whether it's equipment, or uniforms, so as I'm budget friendly due to my not having a ton of money I look for middle of the line purchases. This CYMA had extremely good reviews, and I wanted the option also regarding upgrades if I decided that later. As I said my group here is not much help on information on what I should get or do in terms of upgrades, in fact they are saying I should have gone with other more expensive options for my first purchases. So now I'm asking you if you can help me with a couple questions. First, what parts if any should I upgrade if I wanted to say get more distance with the rifle, or should I just stick with how it is right out of the box at first? I haven't played a game yet, keep that in mind. Second, I've browsed for upgrade videos on my gun and it's usually not even my model/type like another variant of the same rifle so I don't know if the suggestions in those particular videos will fit my rifle exactly. Nothing worse than getting stuff ordered and it doesn't work or fit right. Thank you for your time.

Out of curiosity, is the piston and chamber assembly metal?

The piston is polymer plastic (?), it's bone-white in color and pretty high quality. And the chamber is standard ABS plastic (black in color)

Check out BAD Influence Airsoft's very detailed review video on this gun, it's worth it :)

This is basically the BEST VSR platform to upgrade, for 99 bucks it's a steal!
