Used the striker as01 for an entire season last Summer and thought sniping was just a big learning curve.. nearing the end of the season I borrowed another players SSG24 for a few rounds and absolutely dominated the field. The Striker As01 was a humbling rifle to say the least. Will I ever use it again since my SSG96 came in? Nope. I’ll never touch it or recommend it ever again lol. At least toss the SSG10 up there though! Affordable, durable and has warranty

You forgot the m24sf has adjustable trigger weight trigger pull and is solid as a tank I stripped mine to fit it in my rifle case last Sunday (I ride a motorcycle and use it to go Airsoft ) and it went back together perfectly and shot like a dream I think it should be higher than number 7 as it’s the base for novritchs rifles which he then makes into a bag of shit personally I rate it very highly for the price and even arosft gi said it’s an out the box nov beater any day

Buy a Cyma CM702a, slap some upgrades from Airsoft Pro on there, stuff the stock with some stuff to fill it up, and Enjoy a 250 euro sniper wich shoots better then Any other stock or 'pre-upgraded' (I'm looking at you, Novritch) sniper rifle which is 3 times as expensive

Literally any higher fps AEG with an optic and midly tuned internals. Most fields are far too small for the simple AEG to be outranged to the point to call for a dedicated sniper rifle. Would recommend new players looking to play a marksman role just work towards building a "DMR".

Bollocks, the srs has slapped the vsr10 from its throne, you have to rebuild the entirety of the vsr to get it to shoot even close to what the srs can with a mere spring change. I’ve owned a vsr for a long time before the srs A1 came out. I’ll never go back

@Vjeran Maslać the jg is cheaper yes but the TM one is £230 while the srs is £530. You’re still going to pay pretty much the same to get a vsr 10 platform to perform as well as the srs can out of the box. By no means am I saying the srs is a cheaper build because once you start upgrading the srs it can far exceed the vsr platform for price but the vsr will never match the build quality of the srs that’s fact, not to mention durability of parts for the srs are way better purely due to design, I’ve had the A1 since it came out so around 2 1/2 years and everything on it is as good as it was new, compared to vsr parts I’ve had AA cylinders fail due to contact between the spring guide stopper purely from general use over a few months even though I use the correct method of racking the bolt (thumb over the back and perfectly straight) then there’s the receivers which aren’t made of strong metal so after a year I had to replace that with an upgrade part. There’s nothing left of the base rifle anymore even my nov ssg24 which is over a year old and second hand is showing no signs of the same wear. The srs will always have the top spot for performance, durability, reliability and is quickly catching up on upgrade parts even from silverback themselves which is more than we can say for TM. It’s all personal opinion but after owning the “big 3” when it comes to BASRs I’ll always pick up my srs first because I know it will work every time. IMO it’s worth every penny my vsr now sits almost forgotten due to just being unreliable. It WAS the best out there don’t get me wrong but silverback has pushed the limits of what a quality airsoft gun should be, just look at the hti and the A2.

@tanayaytdon’t get me wrong the vsr can be made to be a great RIF but I personally spent more on the vsr only to have the srs beat it out of the box, not to mention the price point is down to build quality too which the srs is king. Being a smaller guy I don’t have any problems with racking the bolt on the srs in any position, but that was more learning a way of doing it and doing some home mods to make the pull easier like removing the bolt lug and removing some material around the bolt area to be able to cock it back at any angle and being able to throw it back in without the need to keep to it’s original track so to speak. Also when it comes to parts availability now the srs only falls short when it comes to the stock but that’s what you buy the srs for in the first place.

from price wise, probably vsr10 is the first choice even when fully upgraded with the best parts, it's possibly still cheaper than a stock srs-a1. Besides that, SRS-A1 is not comfortable to cock when in prone position. just my 2 cents

@50.Calibre Donut I have an ssg24, my friend has an ssg10a1, the reason I say it’s not good is it’s just a vsr, that’s not even properly upgraded. It goes against what novritsch says about getting great performance out of the box as he had to upgrade it himself. Props to nov tho, the $500 snipers are insane out the box

Mark, I got a few weeks back the ssg10 a2. Right out of the box scope mounted and not sighted I was doing well. Then i knew I needed to get sighted in. I watched Novritsch's video on sighting in and after all done this machine impresses me EVEN MORE!!! I'm popping everything and really getting a feel for what this thing can do. MAKE SURE you sight in correctly!!!

@50.Calibre Donut you right...i never play airsoft on a field so far (i wanted this summer...but covid19 -,-) and i allready own/buy ssp1 ssx23 ssx303 :P only shooting in my house with it is still fun but jeah novritsch is a fanatic and he get me all the time... with his speech ;P

@Jan Janda its is true that he hypes stuff a little more than necessary, but i mean i own one and i love it, so they're still quite good. also, novritsch is a fanatic. he is so invested in airsoft, and believes in his guns to the point where you almost want to buy one just to make him happy. a little extra hype is ok for a growing business

And also the ssg24 and the Mod24 is the same rifle platform (ssg24 is a Mod24 with upgraded parts its not just a raw Mod24 found that info here: https://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/32-general-sniper-talk/55505-novritsch-ssg24-vs-modify-mo24-differences-comparison-review.html) So if you are thinking of getting a Modyfi Mod24 SF i would say go for the ssg24 becouse you almost pay the same price you might eaven save some money buying the ssg24 and the ssg24 perform way better.

@Olivier Hamel (Short story yes the ssg10 is better) I have heard that the ssg 10 and ssg24 have simular performence tho the ssg 10 is VSR platform witch means its easy to find upgradeble parts for it if you wana improve futher your self also the ssg10 got a 25 year warrenty so its a big deal also the ssg10 is quiter compared to the ssg24 so i would go for the ssg10 since its cheaper compared to the ssg10 and you go that sweet 25 year warrenty and no loud piston sould like the ssg24.

@AIRSOFT SAILOR 2005 it’s made by modify. I have one. They even give a damn modify patch with the damn gun. It’s called an SSG-24 because it’s a souped up Mod 24 ffs.
