If that was me I would just show the footage to a ref and get the player kicked off for the day. It's understandable that sometimes you don't feel a hit if it's from long range, but when you can see them visibly flinch from the hit then try to act like it didn't happen, they shouldn't be playing. It's not easy to get long-range kills and when you land a good shot and someone doesn't call it, it's so aggravating.

I was there, on your team, no less. The thing I've about the weekender is, if you spend to long in a big firefight, you eventually get dinged by something, and it usually want aimed at you. Great fun though, be going again this year

Yea but don't be put off. All I can put it down to is they have yet to get a kill themselves. Constantly being hit but never getting one yourself can be the cause of cheating. What's frustrating is you get to re spawn and rejoin the game in minutes, it's not as if you're eliminated for the remainder of the game. You do meet some purists and I am confident that after a while you'll amass a decent crowd of people who you'll keep in touch with and attend sessions together. I've only been once, next is this weekend. Only managed one meaningful kill (close range and was a bit of spray and prey), the other was friendly fire. I now own 3 guns their first outing is this weekend. Keep the faith, the cheaters will eventually fall away

Met this guy at nae. Hes and absolute helmet. Started shouting about an enemy having a hot gun as it outranged his ignoring the fact that the enemy was up an incline, had the wind at his back and that fps alone is responsible for range. Later on gave away my position by casually walking up to the shrub i was dug in asking me if i was enjoying myself and had any targets for him needless to say a quiet 'piss off' followed. As for his band of four or five followers that walk behind him kissing his arse... laughable

I can't stand cheaters! I have seen guys get riddled with half of a 100 shot clip than pretend not to feel it as they move off to the side to hide their pain then keep in the game firing and taking out our guys and calling it a hit to our team. I have left scrims due to cheaters we are all grown ups and some people still act like they are five years old and pull this shit. when I see cheaters I usually just go to the reffs point the asshole out then tell them Im outta here! cheating ruins it so bad for me.

Go for a M4/AK variant as they cheap are pretty popular plus highly upgrade able, and maybe an mp5 for CQB sites... just depends on how much you want to spend on a gun for your first time, no point in spending hundreds on a gun then stop because you might not like the sport :)

dotexe Black that's why I used a dual-fed gun. shoot from hopper, guy doesn't call out after being hit, switch to magazine fed which I had loaded with pepperballs. they were usually out for a little while after that. only shots that I understand not calling is shots in the gun or tank. refs in the fields I played at made sure shots were wiped clean before you went back out, so you couldn't say a shot was from round before

Some fields let you instantly return, and some different game modes will let you fall to the ground until someone gives you "medical attention". That's the basic respawn rules. also rules are different for every playing field the one i go to has rules of whether you can blindfire and melee kills , as well has how you are allowed to shoot from buildings out or vise versa
So if you just read up on the fields rules you should be fine

I noticed your comment had no replies so here ya go. Normally it is required to have eye protection to play. everything else is normally optional. game modes include capture the flag, and hostage rescue. when hit by a BB it is required to yell HIT and surrender via lowering your weapon and raising your hands. then make your way to your spawn. those are the ground rules, but some optional rules include, the bang bang rule. this is to prevent severe pain and it states if you are to close to an enemy yell bang as a substitute for shooting them. automatic weapons are also optional depending where you play. unfortunately my mask got crushed at a milsim. and later that day during the night ops i took a 8mm bb to the face. i was bleeding pretty badly cause it hit bare skin. most airsoft guns will break skin if they hit bare skin.

Screaming Eagle yes there is in some cases people loose there teeth I play airsoft and I've seen it happen. It's recommended to wear something that protects your teeth but it is not required to play.

You definitely know when you are hit, only 1 time I have unknowingly not taken a hit. Someone shot me in the boot and the heat of the moment I didn't feel or hear. My friend pointed it out so I took the hit. All was well. Beware of people made of Teflon though!

First time I have ever seen a "Paintball" match on Youtube, I did not know they used lasers now and also have camera's mounted on the weapons. It looked pretty impressive and like fun.

One thing I cannot understand is, the opposite team, one of them would get hit, then the others stand around not looking for cover, they seem to just casually mill around and chat. wtf?

If I paid money to do that and went to the effort of buying or renting the gear I would be trying to stay alive as long as possible but they didn't seem to give a shit.

Well most players probably couldn't see the enemy team very well like I said. Even if they could, there was a lot of brush in the way it would take some time to actually hit someone. I understand what you mean though, I wouldn't just stand in place but I play paintball a lot and people just stand in the open sometimes.

gotta love those guys shouting out positions of advancing enemy with phrases like "9 o clock from the church" that means absolutely nothing to anyone who isn't near to you and looking in the same direction. so if that's the case maybe mention it only loud enough for the guys next to you to hear rather than alerting the enemy to your position and the guys next to you. and before the hating starts, I was also others that weekend, and we fought the hardest of the 3 teams, but the guys causing the most damage and mayhem spent more time engaging the enemy than shouting orders and creating confusion within your own team.

Bruh, had a worse thing happen to me yesterday. I was laying with my beloved mk23 on a roof and shot a guy to the chest. He saw that he got hit and he backed out. His friend tried to go through the same window, and got shot in the face... He didn't call it either. Then I saw an arm sticking out. Shot it. The arm disappeared and was followed by a scream: "There is a sniper on the rooftop!!". Maan, silent playstyle is very hard :c

When you open the gates, casuals flood. And this guy fit the bill perfectly. I've had this happen a few times and since, i just stay away from any event that's not among people i at least know from past encounters, because it's just a waste of time and energy.

welcome to NAE mate. Unfortunately it's like this most years. As much as it is a good laugh and an opportunity to play such a large site but it is impossible to marshal that many players as much as they try. the Marshals I have found were normally on vehicles at hot spots for 10 mins then running off to the next location.

In the 5 years I've done NAE I have to say the Saturday this year was definitely the worst for cheating! Feel for you with the sniper dude, at least with the SAW I can just keep lighting them up.

Man they're even trying to ban Airsoft in the UK... wow, at least airsoft is mostly safe in the US where I live(Except maybe in some really liberal states), but they're going for our real guns now. If they get them it'd be airsoft next, which I doubt they will since it would cause a civil war more than likely.

I'll trust you that you know, just looks like you took your aim at 1:47 mark to the guy on the left and shot then, and hit he guy that called the hit, while the cheater was on the right behind the tree. Either way, you walk away with the hit. :)

No, watch carefully... I hit that guy, and the BB bounced off his arm and hit the person behind the tree. That person is the cheater, and it's the third time that I hit him!

Not surprising.. no-one wants to be the first one out.. then again it's one shot - he might have been more inclined to call it if it was a couple of shots - either that or he might have thought ricochet..

It depends, I've once witnessed a soon-to-be-teammate take 2 shots from my semi-auto DMR to the forehead at around 60 meters, and his response? Running past the cabin I was sniping from, all the while blind firing my location with 2 full-auto m4's.

Complete bell-end. Wasn't allowed on the team after that incident, for obivous reasons.
Some people are just dicks, can't change that.
