hey bodge. I've been in hospital this week as well. I had an emergncy operation and didn't wake up after when they took me off the anaesthetic.
just a bit of comfort to know that it's not just you who is having to spend some time away from airsoft.

Also, I have been looking for a compact eletric secondary for a while now. Any suggestions?

The only AEG secondary I have used is the CYMA g18 AEP and I have used it at 30 ish games with no jams or failures of sorts, even after drop after drop. Would recommend for a secondary due to its reliability.

I bought a JG G608 G36C from a site that uses them as site rentals, they recommended it for its reliability and it has been to 40+ games and has worked every time. I purchased it for £140

+EzPz theirs a good for the price full auto ak-47 on Evike on-sale for like $85, its made of pot metal but has decent range and good accuracy. it doesn't come with a charger or batteries but its a very good gun for the price.

KWA KM4 cqb. it sits right at $200 and you have to buy a battery and charger but, it is full metal and is made with KWA' s fantastic quality. I'm getting one myself soon

I broke my wrist really bad dunking a basketball... It bent all the way back, so the top of my hand hit my arm. ;-; Glad to see yours wasn't as bad, get better!!

OUCH i feel your pain Bodge, I have a 13 yr old who im introducing to Airsoft. To get him to experience it i thouhgt he should feel the pain from a shot first.
He then asked to shoot me so i said sure not thinking he'd hit me lol but 3 hits later and blood running down my back i guess his aim is better than i thought. I new just a Tshirt and a 20 foot gap was a bad idea lol.

But hey he's well up for his first Mil sim after the test so all good small price to pay i guess

been there man many time twice my ankle, once my wrist, and 4 times my fingers, different ones of course. mainly all high school wrestling injures. it will take a week to become flexible (not swollen) and another half to full week pending on how fast you heal (age) to be fully usable at its best but you will be fine and back in the game in no time. i suggest taking the time on your computer to make more animations for your videos or montages. p.s. get well soon i enjoy your videos.

Never cared much for sprains and stuff moved on to broken bones and the like, but, my advice is water compresses and a good local ointment. Inflammation is your enemy here, better head snap it quick.

Sorry to hear this Bodge, hope you recover quickly. I'm in a similar situation with my ankle, last 10 minutes of the last game rolled my ankle while sliding behind cover and thought I just tweaked it but as I stood up felt this popping and intense pain, fell over, swore like buggery and called for first aid (felt bad for halting the game but wasn't going to walk it off. Suspected sprain and then went doctors who said the sprain had caused tendinitis and was prescribed Naproxen. Already had to miss a couple of games but well worth it rather than knackering it further. Like you say you don't appreciate a limb until you cannot really use it. Boots probably saved me from a trip to A&E (to any people with reluctance to wear boots this is why some sites won't let you on in trainers). Wished I could've got up myself rather than interrupting the game but what can you do? Sorry about the long post just had to vent the anger of sitting around doing bugger all.
