The field I play on has minimum engagement for sniper/dmr class only. "Bang bang" is lame as shit from pistols to rifles considering people will still miss even when they are less than 10 feet.

Where I play in Canada where we don't require orange tips lol, bang bang is allowed but you can shoot if you want so no one is gonna cry about it lol . In conclusion you can point blank eachother if you want. It's your responsibility to stay protected anyway

yeah thats may be true we dont have many players under 18 here in Switzerland bec most fields wont allow younger people. we also have no refs its pure fairplay(most of the time). There is a safekill rule its like bang but you need to be able to touch the enemy from behind and it must be absolutly clear that he cant shoot you first...

Everyone has there own way of dealing with it. Its just not worth it for me nor do I think its my place to confront someone about. That is the refs/fields job and I will inform them.

it is the echo from my case that my camera is in. It sounds fine when I do not look down my sighs but then I wont hit anything lol. I have a new case with a new camera setup and it sounds much better now.

It is easy to cheat in airsoft but from my year of playing the game, I have seen calling people out and yelling about it don't do any good other then start a fight. The best thing to do is to say "whatever" and walk away, its a big field and more people to shoot on the other side.

One time, me and my buddy were pinned down by a cheater once. We shot him many times but he wouldn't move. So I ask my friend to pass me his M40 and take my M4 and shoot at his position while I go back 15 yards. So I had him clear in my sights. I was behind a tree that had an opening just wide enough to stick the barrel through and see through the scope. I waited till he looks over the log he was behind. and he did, I was aiming right between his eyes. So I took the shot, I'm watching the bb fly towards him. And... I accidentally shot out is red dot sight. He freaked out about his $50 optic destroyed. I then shot again and hit him on his left shoulder. He gave up and finally called his hit

My mate shot a guy with his very powerful sinper so can see him Hold his arm then get back in the room so me and him went running in and got him about 50 time to the chest and legs at pretty close range he called he's hits for the rest of the day ;)

That is awesome! It's not the field that makes the problems because I like the field. It's a dice roll of who will be playing and will they play by the rules. This video was shot over a few months of game play not just one night.

Your welcome. It has been a good gun for a year now. I was at OP Blind Furry this weekend and I gave the gun to a squad mate because his gun went down. He fell and my gun hit the ground so hard it dented the slide! The gun still works great. I used it on day 2 of the OP with no problems.

we run zero engagement. and the bang rule is unofficial if you've got the bang to rights you can do it but they don't have to take it. if they do anything except put there hand up and call hit you shoot them

Sometimes people cheat by accident. I've known really solid guys who did so much sim training (i.e. for sherrif's dep. or military) that they unconsciously brush off hits. They still call out but it takes them a second or two to process everything and un-rambo.

yeah I play this field too it gets gay. Luckily they opened an outdoor field nearby that has no MED(Unless your using a gun that's over 400 FPS) and is just a way better field.

Always wondered the same thing. I play here too and it's an absolute clusterfuck a lot of the times. You are yelling bang more than actually shooting. Also their FPS limits are super low they wouldn't even let me in with a gun that was shooting 340 FPS with .20s they said it has to be 330 or under. If their limits are that low I'd think they could have no MED.

god these cheaters I once threw a grenade and there was a guy sitting behind cover and it landed in his lap I yelled "drop it" quickly but he didnt and it went off he was fine he had armor and a cup on but he never called the hit he got up and ran like a delayed reaction and thats what I thought it was but then I saw him run out of the building and continue to shoot guys and then he turned and tried to shoot me I said my grenade hit you and he tried to deny it and say it didnt go off yet I got away in time. bull then the ref tries to get us to agree to both be out even thoe the ref also got hit with my grenade maybe he looked away but he still should have figured the other guy got hit the other guy was hysterical yelling and swearing and I was calm I wasnt going to agree to be out if the other guy was going to be such a jerk and wouldnt agree to be out then the ref just said to me your done for the day and asked me to leave the other guy got asked to leave too but he didnt as I was leaveing he was there too calling me names and saying you got me kicked out your an idiot I should kick your arse then he stopped talking I turned around and watched him just walk right back in I saw him on the viewing platform running around I told the ref and he said no he isnt I would have seen him comeing back in then I got a different ref and pointed the guy out saying thats the guy and he went over and talked to the other ref then they went and talked to the guy I watched from the viewing platform then they came back out an the ref said I dont know what your trying to pull here but now your under mining our staff and implying that their not treating the situation fairly your banned from coming here at no point of this did I ever lose my cool or freak out until they banned me I yelled and said well I dont want to come to an air soft range that allows arseholes like that guy to do what ever the hell they want and not getting in trouble for it. like youcshould have just kicked him out because of the fact of how much he was swearing and name calling I think the refs were scared to actually ask the guy to leave like what else could it have been are they all friends dies his dad or mom own the arena like what I was pissed.

Paintball you can't get cheaters like these.. It's more funner and its more realistic because the pain is by far worse..
It hits your skin and it's a huge circle, and the C02 Cans are much bigger than the tiny bottles airsoft guns use, or electricty airsoft. And you can't get cheaters, cause it'll splat.. You'll get gun cheaters tho, where the paintball hits the guns and they say it was splatter.

Me and some friends of mine own a Warehouse and we use it for airsoft. it is a 2,300 sqft place with an office area and a bar. We have had groups of about 20 people and there are so many cheaters. i hit a guy about 20 ft with my AK that does about 600 ftps and would never call it. After about 12 hits i told him i hit him and he started to rage so about an hour later with him still cheating my buddy found him hiding and threw a grenade in and that was the last time he cheated with us.

Several reasons, it's not very sportsman like, requires no skill to do, is basically random as far as hits go, and it can lead to someone getting shot an insane amount of times at close range if someone happens to be right around the corner.

I remember growing up playing "capture the fort" using spring powered BB guns, they hurt but we had goggles long sleeve shirts to soften the sting a little. I am an AK guy and thought about doing AirSoft just for the combat training you can get from it, but there are a lot of non combat rules to follow.

Yep, most of the time its the twitch reflex, that "oh Fuuuuuuuuuuu--!" moment where your brain says "Shoot this fool!" before it clicks to "hey, don't shoot this guy this close!". Comes from actual combat training and video games where there is no M.E.D to worry about and the right answer every time is to go full auto when you round a corner and your barrel is in the other dudes face..... Airsoft isn't like that most places, so its hard for some players brains to draw that line... until after they shoot you and are like "oh... crap, sorry dude..." lol reason I normally don't get mad at them.

Depending on the field, it does help. Where I play, you report, the Refs check-fire the player 3 times, if they fail to respond to all 3, they are removed for the day, repeat offences result in bans. The real problem comes from fields that are to afraid to loose the $20-$35 entry from that one or more players over the next XX amount of months the ban stands for(Which is kind of understandable for smaller, less frequented fields), which I can understand, $35 per day X 3 times/week (12 times per month) is $420/month in income lost per player banned. As a lot of cheaters I've seen locally are regulars to the field, and just went sideways with how they play for whatever reason.

I put 7 continuous shots in his lower calf, this was at my friends 13th birthday party and it was some 30 year old man who could take some shots without flinching. It's understandable if it's a kid with no morals or respect, but it was a grown ass man not calling his hits. I should have aimed for the liver, by the looks of it, it was a pretty hard working liver.

At this field it is 10 feet or less you have to use the bang rule :( there are some people at this field that will roll of the crying if you shoot at 10 feet. If I say bang at 10 feet and they so "no, too far away". I smile and say game on! I hate the bang rule! I understand the purpose of it but still hate it.

There are times that lines blur and tempers rise (like in any good sport) but when you step over to shooting metal pellets because they did not call a hit. This field is 300 FPS or under. 300 FPS don't hurt much but its when you get hit in the finger or I really hate the mesh face mask and the bb breaks apart on your face! This normally happens when someone is running .12 bbs.

I can understand the "bang" rule when your playing in open woodland or any area with lots of long engagements like I do, requiring high powered guns that bloody hurt at point blank but if you're going to a indoor site like that where its just walls and corners every few feet just enforce a much lower FPS limit and shoot at close range. My club runs a 350FPS limit at woodland sites with a bang rule under 5 yards or low power side arm and then we have a 200FPS limit at our cqb indoor site so anyone with any cheap bb gun can come and play and have a good chance. Heck i've got a couple of £29.99 brightly coloured electric p90's off the toy store shelf that are perfectly capable of hitting someone up to 30 feet or so and that's all you need. I could shoot you from a foot away and not leave a mark unless maybe I hit a bare arm, but no one here is stupid enough to play without being totally covered up lol.
