I had one time a friend who got in the way of my shot and being a smart aleck said "You wont shoot me this close" from about 15 ft away..he got sniped anyways.
I also know of at least 1 field where ur supposed to "bang" from 10 meters or less, which is an awful lot where basically everyone in front of u could misinterpret the call for either him NOT being hit when he actually IS the one u meant or him BEING hit when he wasn't even being aimed at.
That said, the same guy who "banged" me when I took so much time to realize it also wanted to look into a room through a window I was guarding with my gun shouldered and since he walked right into my line of fire doing so he declared himself hit before I even got around to say Bang. Most fair player I've ever met.
I do have to say I've only encountered very few cheaters in all the time I've been playing airsoft, and some of them I sorted out by shooting them where it hurts them. Sometimes pain is the only language they'll understand, so whenever u encounter a cheater just go ahead and make it suck for them as much as u can! Shoot unprotected parts of their body, switch to full-auto if u have to! Coz no matter how tough someone is, a steady stream of BBs to an unprotected forehead is gonna leave some marks and as long as u have the footage to prove them cheating I'm sure no ref would punish u for pelting them a little harder.
Sadly, full-auto is banned for everything past 0.5 Joules of muzzle energy in sh!tty Germany so all I can do is just keep shooting whoever doesn't call their hits as long as they give me a chance to or use a much less powerful gun to full-auto them from up close.
Since I'm planning to tape more of my airsoft games in the future I'm also currently trying to come up with a flash bulb based tracer design that doesn't go inside a silencer but the gun itself if I can find enough space for it, hopefully giving the gun the compactness like with a HUTU and the BBs the brightness as if they were shot through a regular silencer tracer.

(Main reason seizures)
Each epilepsy patient is triggered by different things. Mine is sleep deprivation , when I dont get enough sleep for a period of time I have an episode. Point I'm trying to make is not everyone you point a flashlight at is gonna have an episode. Now if he a strobe light it could make a normal person have one but it makes you look away because it hurts your eyes.

That's why airsoft is a gentleman's sport because there is no evidence of your hits.... like in PaintBall here you got "splash with the paint when you got hit"

Some guy just last week had watched too many youtube videos and tried the bang bang rule. We said that theres no such thing when he asked what we do then i just shot him point blank. But he would have known the rules if he listened to them in the brief.
Step 1 : Add Paint to your Airsoft Guns Bullets
Step 2 : full auto his dumb ass
(Always have your mask on, at all times.)
A small purse (for Magazines and stuff)
Dark, Light Clothes (I prefer Sleeveless sportvests or T-shirt. It makes me more agile. )
Sneakers (For more movement flexibility and reduced noise)
A Melee weapon (I prefer a Trainer Balisong)
A pistol/light weapon
(You have to practice quiet-walking on a daily basis in order to pull this off.)
1. Wear your normal gear, and if you get killed, observe their routine.
2. Put on your light gear.
3. Go to somewhere they can't see you, but you can easily access their main route.
4. Once they passed you, you can do either of the two things:
(1) Shoot them with your pistol, Repeatedly, until they call their hits. Doesn't matter if it's a headshot, neckshot or a fucking ballshot, just make them flinch.
(2) Knife everyone of them.
Remember, Patience is key. Last time I hid inside a bush for 6 minutes straight, But damn. I got 5 people with me before I got shot.
(It will be more effective if Silent kills are allowed)
Also if the ref is watching you cheat & not call your hit. He will full auto the shit out of you.
The father started demanding the refs start the game for his kids (was high impacts turn) and you could tell the refs were intimidated when they told him this and he wouldn't back down.
As SOON as I got involved (was just my wife and I for her 30th birthday, didn't have our kids with us) he backed down immediately- it wasn't fair to the refs, or the other players to be subjected to that nonsense, but because they were teenagers he felt he could get away with it.
The players will do this to the refs as well, and sometimes you just have to remove these types from the arena completely so that those who are playing the honor system correctly can have fun.
It just so happens that teenagers/kids/adults are all privy to demanding teenage refs do what they want them to do
